Consulting and management for natural and built-up areas
Are you looking to manage your natural areas in a way that promotes biodiversity?
If managing your natural areas is not your core business, we can help you turn this constraint into a real opportunity! Our extensive experience with major companies, public and private structures, and the innovations we've tested in practice, enable us to offer you the best solutions for reconciling your technical constraints with ecological, biodiversity and societal issues. We implement solutions that take into account the natural and human context, while also taking into account the budgetary aspect.
You can also call on us to improve the biodiversity of your industrial or semi-natural sites. Ecofirst is one of the qualified biodiversity consultants to have taken part in the Masterclass “Adviseur biodiversiteit en bedrijven”, organized as part of the Interreg 2B Connect project. In addition, thanks to the training provided by Inverde as part of the “Interreg Flanders-Netherlands - Integration of Nature” project, Ecofirst now has an “Ecological Advisor for Wildlife-Inclusive Construction”, and is also recognized on the list of ecologists specialized in building-related nature integration in Flanders.
Last but not least, we are also qualified to guide you on the issues of accommodating biodiversity in built elements: industrial or housing buildings, infrastructures (bridges, engineering structures, tunnels), ... Whether you need to take better account of regulations during your day-to-day management, or to provide support for development sites and new constructions, we can help you identify potential and make the technical adjustments.
What we can offer you:
- Drawing up management plans for natural areas
- Proposals for “nature” installations: ponds, orchards, hedges, flower meadows, plantations, installation of nesting boxes and lodges in buildings, etc.
- Support for building projects (including diagnosis of existing biodiversity)
- Proposals for vegetation management methods: forest expertise, control of invasive species, grazing, etc.
- Administrative procedures: drawing up specifications, contacting contractors, applying for planning permission, applying for subsidies, etc.
