(FR) Nassonia Master Plan: an 80 years forest management plan

The Nassonia project offers to think "forest", to consider the forest at the core of its actions, for the central interest of the forest over any other priority. One of its pillars will be to restore biodiversity and wild to their rightful place, to regain essential and resilient forest, a source of enchantment and wonder for humans. For the forest, Nassonia's challenge is to push the slider to its maximum in all aspects of forest management and to make this constant search for quality a powerful driver of territorial development.

The Nassonia Master Plan is the first important milestone that defines the visions of the Nassonia project in this territory and that translates them into ambitions and implementation tools. It was submitted to the Walloon Government in the summer 2020. Once this Master Plan has been validated, it will be translated into operational plans (forest management plan, nature development plan, public reception plan) over the next 5 years (2020-2024). The Master Plan has been enriched by the proposals of a collective of 29 citizens and actors of the territory supervised by the ULiège TRIAL project.
