This article proposes to set off for the great impenetrable Ardennes forest belt, haunted by men and beings as mysterious as they are unpredictable. Within it lie peat bogs which are among the most endangered natural habitats in Western Europe. Rare, they are home to plant and animal species whose populations are in decline. This is why they have been benefiting from significant restoration actions in recent years in the framework of different projects.
